Lerato is the co-founder of Leaden and is an experienced civil engineer by profession, with over 15 years’ experience in the Construction and Property Development Sector. She has worked for some of the largest construction companies in South Africa in numerous turnkey construction projects, such as the GFIP, Kusile Power Station and three major renewable energy projects.

With her leadership, Leaden has grown into a formidable property developer delivering large scale affordable housing solutions nationally over the last nine years. Lerato’s vast experience has given her in-depth knowledge in project / programme management, project execution, operations, stakeholder management and supply chain management, all of which she brings to the business.

Lusanda is a co-founder of Leaden and a civil engineer by profession. She brings in-depth project management expertise to the business, which she has cultivated over a 16 year career. Over the years, she has worked in numerous divisions in the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) as an Engineering Specialist and a Project Manager, where she was responsible for an average annual CAPEX budget of R100 million in her project portfolio. She has vast knowledge and experience in Turnkey Projects within the rail and property sectors, which she now brings to Leaden.

Yvonne is a co-founder of Leaden and a human resource professional with experience in the construction and railway industries. She has participated in the generalist HR environment for over 10 years, and has been part of a world-class infrastructure project in South Africa that changed the lives of millions of commuters, where she developed extensive human capital knowledge. She has played a major role in organisational development for a multi-national in the local landscape, and has vast experience in talent attraction and retention which adds great value to Leaden’s HR strategy.

Sias is a qualified Estate Agent and has completed his Advanced Project Management studies at UNISA Business School. Sias brings 20 years of experience in the Property Industry which includes Bond Consultancy at Saambou Bank, managing an Estate Agency as well as Contract, Project and Development Management.

He has been involved with the completion of 10 000 houses in the Affordable Housing Sector, Retail Shopping Centre’s, Industrial Developments, Intersection upgrades and servicing over 12 000 stands. He has also worked all over South Africa.

With over 24 years of experience in management roles across various companies, including being a Project coordinator at Sanlam, Principal for an Estate Agency and 8 years in project management in the property development sector, Petra specialises in residential and mixed-use projects. She has vast experience liaising with developers, town planners, architects, engineers and other stakeholders.

Petra’s role involves co-ordinating processes between construction teams, engineers, architects and the NHBRC, handling everything from bank approvals and plan submissions to issuing occupation certificates. Her comprehensive understanding of the entire process, from agents and conveyancing to construction and client satisfaction, ensures that all aspects of the development run smoothly and add value to the Leaden team.

With 20 Year experience, Shouneez plays a crucial role as Project Administrator to support the Project Management team in the smooth execution of projects from sales to completion. She is responsible for co-ordinating various aspects of the development process, including liaising with end-users, agents and other key stakeholders.

As Project Administrator, Shouneez oversees the preparation and submission of Council and NHBRC related documents and provides construction progress reports to end-users and agents. With her comprehensive understanding of the entire development process, from agents and conveyancing to construction and client satisfaction, she ensures that Leaden consistently delivers service excellence.
